I found this brass item on the beach in North Carolina. It was in an area where I was finding two types of 30 cal bullets, and 50 cal bullets. Bomb fragments have been dug in the past. It is hand sized, and the brass is about 8mm, one end is corroded but the other is threaded. There is a slug of lead in the middle. If it is modern fishing tackle I will be surprised. I need help, this thing has me stumped!
