I found this vase in a box of things someone was throwing away. It's a very pretty vase, and on the bottom it says 57/251. I was wondering if anyone knows what it is, and if it's anything special, or how old it is.

That mark is from Bing and Grondahl, and for dating purposes: The art of Dating Bing and Grondahl by marks Factory Stamps Hallmarks of B and G
If I'm reading their chart right it looks to be from 1962-1970
It appears to be their Lily of the Valley pattern. They don't sell for much (under $20), but worth saving from the trash if it fits someone's taste.
