What is this Automobile Related

Hi all,
I want to preface this by first saying I have enjoyed this forum for years but this could very well be my first post. Wonderful group here, very helpful and knowledgable. Didn't realize how long it's been since I logged on here until I tried and my password was no longer valid lol.
This was found a while back and after much searching I still can't figure out what it is. It is about 1 1/2" tall and an inch wide. Oops, posted by accident before I finished. On the back it says Automobile Monogramming and Emblem company New York Pat Pending.
After just looking at my collection of finds (got the bug back) I realize I should post some items. I have saved everything I have found in 20 years of on and off detecting.

I am not sure why but it reminds me of a buick emblem.

Looks like a '30's Desoto grill emblem. That's my guess.

Thanks so far. From my research and now checking on both suggestions it still looks to be a mystery. Any more ideas?

A unicorn and 3 stars. Hmmmm.....What is at the very bottom towards the point of the badge? It's out of focus. Under one of the stars.

people used to put different badges on their grills (thats car grill, not rapper music grill) back in the day. look at old race car pics from the 1920's nd you may see some on the radiator of the car. you still see them sometimes on cars that have big metal classic looking grills. being that yours looks like brass, i'd say you have an original and maybe of value to a car buff.
