What is the best part of arizona to go detecting for nuggets for a week?

What part of Arizona? It's a big state. If I know the area you are interested in I'd be willing to give you some info but just "Arizona" is a bigger subject than I can fit in a few PMs. :happysmiley:

In general, as this is a difficult question to answer with specifics, find Dolan Springs, on your map, which is way up Northwest. Using the scale of the map you have and using Dolan Springs as the center, draw a circle 150 miles in diameter. That will give you many areas, in all directions, within 75 miles of Dolan Springs. Any location, especially to the East and Northeast of Dolan Springs, should be good hunting. Get a BLM Map of that area and see what areas are open, but be careful as many Claims are filed on BLM Land. Look for Claim Postings and other Privacy Signs. I hope this helps.

It would be my PERSONAL opinion that you should try the Stanton, AZ area. Lots of clubs to join for $50 a year. You will find that much gold on the first day hunting! TimC can show you EXACTLY where to dig... as in POINT to the ground and DIG HERE type of surety. I will guarantee you will find gold. TimC and I have done just that for Garrett, Jerry, Donovan (J and D are there right now!) and others. Send me a PM, give me your phone and when to call you. I will bring up Google Earth and you do the same.... I will zoom you in on place(es) to hunt. It is that easy! Lynx Creek is also good. Lynx is written as the best creek in AZ for gold. PM me and let's set it up. TTC

There Terry goes giving away my spot again. ;) jkdg Terry. I'd be happy to take him out and run dirt or run around detecting with him as well. Just depends on dates. I'm open for most part except on some Mondays and Saturdays.
