Hi! Found this in an Iowan yard sbout 7 inches deep. Using a Minelab Equinox 800. Appears to be cast brass. Any idea what it is? Appears to be slightly curved with recesses for attaching to something else.

Welcome to the site Eric B. Maybe some sort of buckle or fastener for a belt or strap? Just a guess.
