It’s a Chinese signature seal also called a ‘chop’. They’ve been used for centuries but you can still buy them today. Hard to say how old. I don’t get the sense that yours is very old.

The name came into English usage as a corruption of the Hindi word 'chapa' (also 'cap' in Malay), which referred to seal stamps made from rubber and other materials. The carved seals long-produced in the Far East were dubbed with the same name. The term was also extended to cover the 'chop marks' made by Chinese merchants on silver coins and tokens used in trade, particularly from the 18th Century onwards when foreign coins of a 'trade dollar' nature were commonly in circulation. The merchant's mark was stamped on the coin to indicate he had verified its silver content and weight, but coins often ended up with multiple marks from repeated testing by different trading companies.

Interesting stamp. This a complete guess but going by usual stamp order (top bottom right to left) we have 路丝 多得 lusi duode. My guess this stamp was made for a woman named Lucy 路丝 lusi and her last name sounds similar to duode. Usually the "Lucy" transliteration is 露西 luxi but the characters 路丝 lusi have a meaning on their own. 丝路 si lu for example means silk road. My guess this was made for a western tourist as professional stamp scripts are made with a character style called 篆書 篆书 zhuan shu. However, this stamp was made in simplified chinese 简体字。
