I found this about 8"-10" deep in yard. My house was built early 1900's. I think it could either be an old sewer grate, coal chute door.......???

It is extremely heavy for its size. Feels around 25 pounds but haven't weighed it. I have looked it over but can't seem to find any markings or writing on it anywhere.

Let me know what you think please......

I would say it's from the early 1900's
Hard telling, they used that style of stove for ever.
