I think you need to ask Diggumup. Something tells me he would know right away.

Still the whole duck thing is very cool, but looks too expensive for me.

Very cool ,I wonder if there is some significance to the fact that on one side the head is out and on the other it is in?Maybe they were tapestry hangers.

I'm seeing 3 pieces there - 1 long and 2 shorter, but same length. Is that correct??

If that is the case, I'd hazard to guess that the two shorter ones mount on a wall somehow while the longer one hangs horizontally from them. Could be used to dry/tisplay towels, or to display a quilt or a flag - something of the sort. ...That's my guess and I'm stickin' with it! .....for now. :tongue3:

I can't say for sure what it is but I'll give you my observations on it. To me it looks like a folk art hat/coat hanger. It appears to be a hand carved/handmade ooak piece. It looks to have some age to it. The heads on either end appear to be turned about 45 degrees on each of the two longer pieces. Looks like one head was already repaired, maybe from something too heavy hanging off of it. The "twine" that it is hanging from does not appear to be original, though I can't say what was used or how it hung originally. The rattan used to secure the pieces together is what throws me off though. It leads me to believe this was made in Bali or something to that effect. That's all I can offer on this piece.
