Looks like a GREEK coin replica to me

It can't be a replica because of all the corrosion that is on it takes a long time to form. It looks like a roman/greek coin. Try taking it to a coin shop. They will be able to identify it. The eye at the top may have been a peice of corrosion jetting out of the side. Good Luck! ;D

It is a modern jewelry piece. It is meant to copy the style of a roman coin (1st Century A.D.); however, the artist missed their mark and the portrait is quite modern.

I was wrong about the back side. It appears to be exactly as the front side. I cant read the writing on the back side. All I can make out is HE???? near the forehead of the figure in the pic.
