what is it?

This item appears to be gold plated. It had an eye at the top probly for a chain (necklace?) but appears to be old. The back has no markings. Can anyone identify or date this from the pic?

It can't be a replica because of all the corrosion that is on it takes a long time to form. It looks like a roman/greek coin. Try taking it to a coin shop. They will be able to identify it. The eye at the top may have been a peice of corrosion jetting out of the side. Good Luck!

It is a modern jewelry piece. It is meant to copy the style of a roman coin (1st Century A.D.); however, the artist missed their mark and the portrait is quite modern.

I was wrong about the back side. It appears to be exactly as the front side. I cant read the writing on the back side. All I can make out is HE? near the forehead of the figure in the pic.

I'm not exactly sure what they are... Some type of coin replica to wear as a pendant..
I found one awhile back, and have found no info on it...
