I'm not 100% positive, not even 50%, but I think this or an item similar to it was on the show Pawn Stars - it ended up being a doll or some sort of promotional item during Lincoln's presidency.

Are the Arms and legs made of pipe cleaners? I saw the Pawn Stars epidsode, and theres were a little better detailed I thougt, and much older....Looks like some freakin Voodoo doll

IF those are in fact Pipe cleaner limbs, I would saw its just someones crafting aftermath

They look like pipe cleaners to me. If so, it dates no earlier than the early 1900s. That is when the pipe cleaner was invented. You can "google" pipe cleaner dolls and there are a lot of them.

can you take more pics with something in it to show size ?

It looks to large for Typical Pipe Cleaners ,
however if it is Vintage Pipe Cleaner Art, it's one of a kind

plus how old would it have to be not to be considered Racist by todays
Sensitive Crowd ? 50's ? 30's ?
I just get the feeling some people would be offended by it :tongue3:

at this point I wouldn't rule out
Gypsy, Hobo, School, or Prison Art.
though I seriously Doubt Voodoo, as I believe
someone who would have a Voodoo doll of someone,
they would want to be able to hide it in the smallest place possible.
not display it.

Some more details would be helpful. What is the head made of? Where did you find it?
