Found about 20 yds from Fox River, main waterway into Green Bay from Lake Michigan.image.jpg

If it is a highly corroded seltzer bottle sprayer, that might explain the glass.

Has the size and rough shape of the lock off of a flintlock firearm, and the place it was found would support that....the glass throws me a little

So here it is cleaned up some. I like the idea of maybe a flint lock hammer? Now that I've looked at others. I do know I will be back to the spot it was found. Thanks.

Mekong Mike, I would be more than happy to take your puppy off your hands. Ours was worth more than gold.

As to the object, seems to me there were some decorative stopcocks that looked like that. Gas lines and such. Don't think it looks quite like the hammer from a firearm.
