✅ SOLVED What is it ??????

It's me, the rookie again! Found this mystery item in field in Eastern Ontario, Canada. I know the land was used for farming since the first settlers arrived, but I am clues what this could be. Found this at a depth of approx. 9 inches. The long stick parts seem to have broken off something .... Any input is much appreciated!!!!

Yep, flat chain link and they never break when the manure spreader is empty. I've changed a couple after I've scooped the spreader out.
