This is what I found in the swamps, once agian. I was detecting and when I starting digging I found these bottons one is wood and the other I think mother of pearl but might be garbage. The dime is 1940 Mercury so surely silver and the penny is 1957 D print wheat back surely copper. My question is about what would this be worth (Mainly the coins)? Also can anyone give me tips on cleaning copper?

The marks on the back of the Wooden button might be from my pocket (when I found it i just pocketed it thinking garbage).

actually at this moment
8:42 Eastern your dime has $1.2391
in Silver in it. your
penny $0.0210300 in Copper.

Can't help on the Buttons but
would take a "Special" Person to buy Them.

Don't Clean the copper.
The Patina is what may make it worth 5 Cents
Instaed of 2 cents

1916 D can be worth a whole lot of money !!! as can a 1942 over 1 error coin ---- both the plain no mint mark (philadelphia ) and the D (denver mint) type.

Thank you everyone for helping me with these items, I now know alot more about the value of coins and silver. Much love to Breezie for the price breakdown. This one is solved.
