I was searching an an area where i found an old chimney in the middle of the woods and i found this. It has writing on it and a symbol in the middle. i can barely make out the top two words which seems to say Pace Fasser. Then on the bottom it clearly says sheffield. Im assuming its a name. There was also civil war action in the immediate area. Any ideas?

I think what you have is the medallion off the handle of a saw.

I saw, no pun intended, a company that said peace not pace so that could be what the pace was instead.googled saw medallions you can probably put in the word vintage also.
