Good question.

From the pictures it looks like a piece of diorite - a multi-mineral of courser grain-size igneous (origin) rock - meaning having significant hardness compared to sandstone, etc. If diorite, it would be a challenge to square sides into a brick-like shape. So I'm calling it natural by first pictures composition interpretation.
