✅ SOLVED What is it Brass Frame?

I found this at 1800/1900 homesite. Just trying to see if there are any ideas what it might be.
I was thinking a picture frame or clock part. It is a very thick piece and heavy. Has a beautiful design on it. on back does have a 90 degree piece with hole as see in last picture. Any ideas?

The Center hole is 1 1/4" round and here are some more pictures to see closer around it.

could be a ornate ring for a door bell button.

Maybe from a vintage peep hole/door knocker! Sometimes referred to as a Speakeasy peep hole......?

Could be copper, it is heavy

On the top as shown in your last picture of the back, there is a 90 degree bend with a small hole in it. I can't see how the other end looks on the back because it is out of focus or my eyes are. I am leaning toward a pendulum weight.

That is so awesome, thank you for everyone who responded… I was racking my brain trying to figure out what it was… I was thinking frame or clock part. Never thought pendulum bob… keep finding cool stuff.
