Found this Has a 800 in a circle on it and its made in italy then 15 f1 marked on it no clue on any info on it

My first thought was that it was a cigarette case. However, given that it has a mirror in it, it is possibly a compact case for makeup.

I believe it is a lady's compact. 800 usually means 80% silver (as compared to Sterling which is 92.5% silver). 800 silver is common found in products made in Germany. What is the white center carving made of? If it's ivory or even bone, the case could be worth a couple of hundred $.

made by an italian silversmith named lucchesi rolondo . he was in biz from 1935 to mid 1950s. Its worth 120 bucks if you have the original screen and puff. Call me if you need more info. thx Ray
