I've tried to turn this into a Civil War artifact. When I first pulled it up, I thought it might be a trigger guard, but I just can't see that at all. Well, before I put in the "unknown pile," I thought I'd chunk it up here to get responses. It is brass. It has a serial number, like 8232 or something. Thanks!

I'm on board! I'm full of horse Spurs, though. But I don't mind sharing some Lee stuff. You know, I enjoy spreading the wealth around. Honestly, I only collect horse Spurs from George Washington. But for you, I'll make a one time offer on a once in a lifetime deal. Hold on to your seat!!! Just send me shipping and handling costs. Sling me a crisp 20. Once I receive the money, I'll, uh, get it to ya' in good time!
