Found these two items in the park today, they passed mucky's lead test. They are rather odd. Anybody have any ideas?

Why does look like the item on the right, looks like it fits the one on the left?
At first I thought it was the top for the dealio on the left.

Could be, found them about two feet away from each other in roughly the same depth.

Nope, solid metal. I was thinking a plumb bob of sorts..who knows
