What in the world is this 1894 coin???

Can you help me identify this... My Mom has some old money and this was in it. It is very ornate, but not a mark anywhere except for the 10 and the 1894 mint date.

I'm very curious about this one...

Not to hard to figure....

I got relatives also of German descent in N MO.
X's family also Deutch, in S MO...

There may have been at least one reckless character among them...
But probably not more than that!

Pretty thrifty bunch, to put it nicely.

My guess is you'll find gold before you find another one. LoL
