What if any permits are needed for dredging off the coast of flordia?

They will throw you in the back room of the jail.. They dont give permits for dredgeing unless you are a company that puts sand on the beach.

You can take that to the bank!

You can use a clam or oyster rake providing you have a valid florida fishing license and you dont go over your limit per day.

Permits from the EPA/DEP and permits from the Army Corps of Engineeers would be needed just to use the unit.

and then there's this
-Digging for artifacts on state lands without a permit from DHR is a third degree felony (Chapters 267.061 and 267.12-13, Florida Statutes, and Rule 1A-32 of the Florida Administrative Code)

So - you just have to watch for a dredging job in that area. Then get a beach chair, six pack, and some company and watch where the stuff goes. Then do your thing.
