What if any permits are needed for using a suction dredge off the coast of flordia? Primaily around Venice for fossils and gold coins ect..

Permits from the EPA/DEP and permits from the Army Corps of Engineeers would be needed just to use the unit.

So - you just have to watch for a dredging job in that area. Then get a beach chair, six pack, and some company and watch where the stuff goes. Then do your thing.
