Been up off and on all night, sinuses killing me etc. How can so much snot come out such a small area? it is supposed to be a decent day today but it ain't happening. My wife just left to get me some very hot Mexican food and extra hot salsa, it will open my sinuses even more and the heat will numb my throat. I am not into peppers for the heat part of it but I do love their flavor. I do take red cayenne capsules for my stomach and they do help. I hate trying to dig and having my nose running like an open faucet. My wife works with the Special needs at the school and brings home various unwanteds pretty regular. Oh well, it is what it is. I just want to hurry up(like everyone else that gets the crud) and get it over with. I do prefer to get this type of crud versus food poisoning or the like. sounds like I also need to get the crockpot going with a stew or soup for later.

I hear ya about school's, my wife works at the local high school---I wish they would quit teaching about history in india or some other thing that kids will have no use for, and teach them how to wash they're hands and sneeze properly so every cold and bug doesn't get spread like wild fire [ rave over]

my wife came home the other day with dried slobber/snot on her black sweater. it was jerked off and thrown into the washer. teenagers with mind of three year old create a lot of challenges but they need someone to take the time and spend the time with them.

trying to sleep is the worst but I have a pretty good nurse. sure can change your plans, this week is supposed to be warmer too. Freezing one minute and then burning up, kind of like my wife the last 5 years. I just ate some very hot peppers and barely could taste them, the heat was very short lived as well.

I have had it for two weeks and just now feeling better. Wasn't around kids or anything like that. Woke up coughing one day and got worse. I am now down to an occasional sniffle.

i got it last night. Woke up coughing and immediately started taking cold medicine. I also use a saline sinus rinse at least twice a day. If I don't feel better tomorrow I will go to employee health care. I may have to postpone my pre-op EKG and chest x-ray scheduled for Wednesday.

I've had the drips and a massive morning headache Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It finally left yesterday noon. No idea what's going on.
