I found this earlier today and I have tried ALL day to find out what it is with no luck. I'm pretty sure it's a button but im not sure. I know the picture of the front isnt very good but it's the best that it will show. Does anyone know what it says on the front? The top part is super thin...It looks like a flat button but that back piece is throwing me off. acvf.webpasdf.webpased.webpasdfg.webp

It is what is known as a rivet-button, from overalls, bluejeans pants & jackets, etc. although it also gets used on other fabric-items, such as a duffelbag. Another name for it is a "tack-button." It serves the purpose of a button, but is riveted onto the cloth instead of being sewn on. The pair of Wrangler bluejeans I'm wearing right now has a rivetbutton as the waist closure above the zipper. The writing on yours is probably a clothing-brand logo.

Edit: Indian Steve and I were typing at the same time. Took me longer, because I had to find and upload the photos.
