what does "smg" mean inside a ring?
I posted the find on "todays finds" and want to know what those initials stand for. It's a gold ring 14k with brilliant stones. I looked up "jewelers' marks", "jewelery marks" and assorted other variants. I thought it meant "simulated manmande gems" but there is no listing for such an animal. Thanx for any help.
