What do you wear to carry your tools/finds/trash?

I ran across my old Craftsman nail apron last week & thought it's make a good MD pouch. I only used 1 of the pouches (wore 2 for construction). Has enough pockets to keep thinks seperated, and the tip of the probe on the PP will fit into the hammer loop & keep it from swinging around while the belt clip hooks onth the upper pouch.

I bought a cheap nylon belt for it. Used it today & it worked-out pretty well.

I have numerous detector branded pouches that I just use with a nylon belt as well. I try to carry as little as possible since all those tools add weight to my load. I though about using a tool belt but the pouch seemed too small for my needs.

Right now I'm using a "retired" Domke® canvas satchel camera bag. It's worn on one side (from my hip) from lugging camera gear around for 5-years but, it has a big pocket for digging tools & probe plus, it has two, Velcro® flapped outer pockets for the finds and trash. So far it's been great.

Mine is similar to yours except i have a pouch on 1 side for tools and finds and another large one on the other for trash.
Plus i have my sheath on the belt for my hand digger also.

I have an old cloth nail apron, 2 pockets, lightweight and easily tied.

I tried my old 4 pocket construction belt but it was just too stiff when bending over.

My digging tool is an old wood handled knife I bought some years back at an army/navy surplus and it has it's own sheath which i just jamb in my back pocket.
