My friends let us search their property for old rocks and we found these. They had no interest in them so they gave them all to us. We have probably 4 large pieces and 5 smaller pieces. We believe they are all petrified wood.

What do you think, petrified wood and what do you think they would be worth.

ok I'll do that. My favorite piece is probably 50-60 pounds. I'd love to get the bigger pieces smoothed and keep them but I have no idea where to even get something like that done.

It is best to leave them as they are as cutting, grinding and polishing risks damaging or totally destroying them! Below is a link to "Sold" item Auction on eBay. If you sell them on there, you will need to upload excellent pics of each piece you are selling, give dimensions and the locale of where they were found.
