What do you think?

So I decided to see if the rain washed anything up. It didn't seem like it raised the water level much but I think I may have found something. I almost didn't even pick this up (and maybe I shouldn't have) but the shape was screaming at me. To me, it looks somewhat like an Agate Basin. It appears to have the parallel flaking some of them have and is pretty thin. Comparing it with examples in Overstreet I think it probably would have been around 4 1/2 inches. It is right around 3 inches right now. The only reason I am somewhat skeptical is the material. I have no clue what is and I haven't seen anything similar. I would appreciate any opinions. Also, not too long I found the other piece pictured below one sandbar up. From what I have heard this is a pretty old piece as well. Thanks guys.

Hard to tell for sure by the picture but it sure looks like it's genuine to me. Great finds, both of them. I'm not sure about the material but I see similar material in pictures from other parts of the country. Thanks for the pictures.

Not sure about the first piece, looks like it was worked. Nice second piece though.
