As a rough idea of value as it is would be the weight right now multiplied by spot price of gold, and that would be just for starters! It could be more valuable than that! Man, I got to start swinging my gold detector around some of those old hardrock mines instead of old hydraulic pits like I've been doing. I'd leave it as is, maybe if I decided to keep it I might polish the cut side. It sure looks like gold in the pictures!
P.S. I've seen other specimens go for 3 times spot price and higher!
