Found the other day. With the old lock. It was bent down and looked like a ribbon pin until I got packed dirt off and straightened it out. My thoughts were toy boat propeller. I'm sure it's something else entirely. It's brass or copper . The little blades have very small bumps all over them, like it's part of the " look"

Y'all are probably right about some kind of flower petals instead of it being a propeller. It's thin and bends easy

All of the propellers I'm seeing are 2 or 3 arm, not 6.
