Found this golden grasshopper years ago in my parents front yard with a metal detector.
About 2 inches long and half inch tall.
Made of gold or plated iron? Non-magnetic.
Weighs 53 grams on my kitchen scale. 10 ml volume.
Looks like it was soddered onto something at one point and hollow inside.
Was it a decoration on a bigger item or what was it for?
