What could this damage POSSIBLY be from? (ebay)

It's 100% PMD. Something was likely pressed into it with a tremendous amount of pressure.
 

That's a shame it was damaged. $813 for that coin? I can't imagine anyone paying anywhere near that amount for that coin. To me, it's ruined. If I was making a nice XF or better set, I would want one in better shape. If I was needing just a filler, a VG or Fine would be a better choice. I just don't see a customer for that thing.

I agree too... I wouldn't touch it.

The best part is that someone actually sent that coin to NCS for "conservation". I guess some people think the TPGs can perform miracles.
 

I would think it would be the Center Showcase for someone who's hobby
is collecting Counterstamp coins.
