A friend showed me a boulder he thought it was rose quartz. Its to deep of a red. Its a deep deep traslusent red to big to fit in the bed of a truck at least a 8 on the hardness scale sorry no pics iffy on recovery could be on a indian res need to take a GPS out there to find out. Just curious what it could be. Be really cool if it was a giant garnet I have no clue. HELP

Do some research & see what rocks you have in your area. a boulder of rose quartz would be amazing. We have a lot of pink chert & pink granite. very pink.

this is deep red and garnets are commen in the area but not even close to that size havent seen any other rocks that color in the area been there most of my life.

I do know of a boulder of clear quartz that is 2ftx2ftx3ft that has been river smoothed so clear you can see whats under it. Its cool any idea what it would be worth.
