Apush, My experience with bags has been with $1000. bags , and the halves were loose ,
I think my odds for silver have been a bit better from bags than boxes , but i would bet that
over the long haul they would even out. Argentium.

Bags of halves I get are 1k and are loose coins. Much better than going through 1k in rolls with nothing to open.

All the bags I get contain $500 in halves except for the bags from B of A. Those contain $1000 each. They both come loose in see through plastic bags. HH

you do not find these bags for sale at every bank. they usually are taken off thier coin counting machines if they have one. here in Penna. there are hundreds of banks with coin counters but you won't find one that will sell them to you. don't know if its a state thing or what because many here from other states can buy them. in my opinion though they have a highest chance of finding silver as they have not been sent out to be counted, which would mix them with other deposits and get spread out to several boxes.

Bag $ Ammounts by denomination

Dollars $2000
Halves $1000
Quarters $1000
Dimes $1000
Nickels $ 200
Pennies $50

Note, this is the common amount. Your bank and results may vary. :icon_thumright:
