What Calibre Gun?

I found this iron ball a few years back at a battle site.
It measures 2 inches in diameter. I'm thinking grape shot but what size cannon would have fired this grape shot? Was it a siege gun.
I found it in Vicksburg.

Possibly from an 8" gun (or larger) using canister(?)

Siege guns typically didn't use canister. They either pounded the fortifications or lobbed explosive shells. But I guess they had a chance to do it all at Vicksburg.

Could be from canister; swivel guns on small boats fired rounds about that size I believe.

I find 6 pounder and 12 pounder canister and it's twice the size of the 12 pounder canister I find.
