This country has a rapidly growing population of leeches. I always thought that you had the ability to rise to whatever level of success that suited you, and you were comfortable with. Now all of the incentives to achieve greatness have disappeared, I'm labeled negatively if I work hard and make a lot of money.
Why should I spend my time and money to succeed, only to be belittled and have to pay more to those who won't take care of themselves. I have no more incentive to succeed, only survive until I retire next year. I've been used, and broken down by a Govt. that has grown out of control, and by people I don't even know who want what I've worked since I was 9 years old to gain.
People here have said that we should all give a little, well frankly my dear, I am tired of giving, and receiving nothing in return. Times will either change, or we will be fighting another revolution in the very near future.
I'm a dinosaur, and realize that the old ways have given way to the new technology, but use the old ways to learn how we got to where we are now. I want nothing more than what I worked for and earned, but I also will not give up the rights that were given to me that allowed me to gain those hard-earned rewards. I've reached a point in my life where I want to relax, enjoy my successes, learn from my mistakes, and end my life contented, but as Michael Corleone cried,"....Just when I'm almost free, they draw me back in". Enough of my rambling rant, and I apologize to those who don't agree , I'm just tired!
