i found them bottle digging at a old logging camp what are they i have lots of them please help

i don't know what they are made of and what can u use them for are they worth anything ????????

Yours look like carbon but I would guess there are probably other metals used depending on the type of battery. In a lead/acid battery, there are lead plates that can be sold to a recycler. Considering the weight and hazardous materials you have to deal with, it's more trouble than it's worth monetarily, but a good idea to do environmentally. I don't think your carbon has any value but maybe someone else here knows more about that.
