I know these aren't likely worth anything, but was wondering if anyone knew what they are? The first is a crest that appears to be made of copper. Not sure what the crest represents?

The second is a hunk of brass with a female threaded end. I can't tell if the opposite end is a clean break of something bigger or if it was flattened like that on purpose? Maybe it was a tool of some sort? It is a solid hunk of metal, not a hollowed piece of sheet like they use today or making things.

Cheers

The 2nd item looks like a cigarette holder. Could you post a pic of the back of item #1? Neat finds :) Breezie

Hi Breezy,

The back of the first one is just like the front except no colors. It is flat with no sort of attachment mechanism or sign one was ever there. The "cigarette holder" doesn't have a hole all the way through. The flat part is a solid piece of metal. I am leaning towards it being an old tool for making pottery. The threaded end being for screwing on a handle of some sort.

That crest looks kinda Cadillacy, just not totally...
