I hit an entirely different shoreline than last time, in hope of snagging some Spanish silver. Well that didnt happen. If you remember my latest thread ("It took me 6 years to find this"), you'll know where this one is going. The First decent signal was mind boggling. As I looked down, I couldn't believe it. Another broken silver trime! This time, I made sure it was an old break and the other piece wasn't there. Oh well, I'll take it. I got a few flat buttons, a roached fatty Indian, a button with a nice design and a rare pewter British Militia button. I think it's a 7th regiment based on what I found online. All in all, it was a good couple hours. The tide came up fast! Until next time...gl &hh

Hi, nice finds. Congrats:icon_thumleft:

Amazing odds on the trime and grats on it all. GL NEXT TIME OUT!

Maybe I'll hit the other shore where I broke the first trime and see if I can find the other part. That will be next Saturday, weather and tides permitting. If I find it, the title if the thread will be a dead giveaway lol

I can attest to trimes being brittle. I dug one a few years ago with a slight bend to it. Gave it a little pressure to even it out and...snap!

Sweet, a broken piece of a trime is better than none at all and awesome buttons

Cool Trime! Those are small on their own, never mind cut in half! :occasion14:

Nice hunt, cool 7th button, and nice partial of the trime, congratulations
