What an INCREDIBLE day of digging.

I just got in but just wanted to post up a picture up of all the relics I found today. Went back to my new site today and dug a couple of firsts for me I still need to put a picture up of my cleaned button finds from my last visit to this site.......I just havn't had time. Todays best finds were 2 beautiful bullseye rosettes with lead backing (my first and second), a dropped 69 Italian Garabaldi (my first), a pan to an epaulette, part of a Jefferson Davis Hatpin, another Boreman fuse, what I think is a brass match box container with intricate scrolling on it (my first), some early rev war button backs, some dropped and fired 58's, a coin of somesort, a small rev war buckle, a bunch of caseshot, a brass spoon, a horseshoe, and alot of other miscellaneous relics. I really don't even know what all I have here! I also brought an antler out of the woods to add to my collection. This site is just incredible! I will post up a picture of my cleaned buttons from my last trip later on and try to get a picture of everything here cleaned up and a picture taken as well sometime tomorrow or Wednesday. It was cold out there today at 8:00 when I first got in the woods but when you are digging relics you don't even notice. I am a tired but happy relic hunter tonight! Devonrex
