The condition of the coin is so good, I'm going to get it graded. All I've done it run it under water. I think it is the 1834, Large 4. Any opinions on this would be welcomed.

The ball on the top right row is what I think a pistol ball, which was not cut after it was molded, that's why is has that tail. Any opinions on this?

After posting this thread I looked in the light at once of the flat buttons and saw a Script A with a 2 circled under it.

2nd regiment artillery I'm pretty sure, if I'm wrong correct me

oh wow, I am looking closer at one of the buttons and there is a Script A with the letter 2 under it. I have to clean it up better, will post back soon.

2ND REGIMENT ARTILLERY!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the nicest old coin finds I ever saw. Nice job on the recovery, not a scratch on it!
