what age are these buttons

i found these three buttons in a box i got from a yard sale. the gold tone one has thistle blossoms and leaves. the little one has a shield with stars,strips,and a very small eagle.
but on the back it is a sliding piece and inside there is a piece of paper with the words H. BAR on it.the gold one has a back stamp extra rich superior.the other button has acorns
and oak leaves,on back has Bendick-burnham--- ???? after.any help would be greatly appreciated.

Benedict & Burnham is 1830's or 40's. Nice yard sale score!

thanks dcmatt,now sure would love to have someone tell me wht the piece of paper means inside the small button,i know its a cover button but how old?

yes bigc it is a piece of paper,it appears to be a torn piece.above h.bar it says ticket then,under that once c then its torn,nothing before the h that i can see but might have.
