had to Pay Bills this Morning, SO I
Took a Ride today instead of going back to the Lake.
Ended up at the Tremont Gas Station to Fill My tank.
As I'm walking out, a Borough worker is walking in.
LIGHT goes ON in my Head
Local Swimming pool only built in the 50's,
but next to the Carnival grounds I was doing last month.
so I took a Swing around.
3 Borough trucks there and 3 Elderly Gentlemen sitting on
a bench inside pool fence. watching one guy paint the inside
of the pool.
By the time I got stopped not even off the road, I jumped out,
didn't even shut my truck off
the guy I saw at the Gas station pulls in.
I walk up and ask the Question of the Day
He says I see no Problem, there is 3 members of the council over there
on the bench, ask them.
I walk over and ask. one speaks up and says, I see no Problem,
What about Insurance
. Of course I explain I never sued anyone
for my own Stupidity, and he says there is no water in the pool
you could fall in ! ("There is no Water in the pool, You could fall in" :P
I got turned down in another town last week for the same reason, and the guy wouldn't Budge)
Now, there is a 3 foot wide Sidewalk all the way around the pool,
there is Rebar in that sidewalk so add another foot to the Distance I will be from the edge. What am I gonna do ? take a running Dive ?
Anyway, I offered to sign a Liability waiver, but he said there are 3 of us here, I think We can Testify you are taking responsability.
I see no Problem with you detecting, so I went at it.
