What a gift!!!

Wife called me up one day from work and said her coworker had found a stone years ago I. Her garden and wanted to know if it was anything( she heard I collected) well when she came home I was blown away. It was a beautiful 4.5 in red banded slate lizard effigy. I was ancey for my wife to ask her what she wanted to do with. I was excited all night. The next day she told her friend what everything was and how I was so excited . She just turned to say , then tell him to keep it,mywife asked if she was sure and she said ill check with husband . Well today I just added a beautiful lizard to my collection. Thanks hugely to the Townsend family of warren co. Ohio

Trevmma........how lucky and what a great piece! However as Gator Boy has noticed you are in sincere danger of your floor collapsing, the best thing to do is to send us some of the heavier pieces to avert disaster. I for one would like to see more pictures of your fantastic collection!

thanks everyone for your kind comments, just chatted for a few hours with the family, man are they kind people. he gave me some arrowheads they found there as well. about 1000 acres in plowed fields there to walk for me now. the farmer does a complete no till now though, but im sure ground will be a little bare after winter.

Yeah it will be bare. Thats the type of field I hunt. You learn to watch the water flow in the field to look for erosion. Always better finds on the down slops.
