Eastern Ohio
Detector(s) used
XP Deus
Minelab E-Trac
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I ALWAYS have my metal detecting equipment with me in the truck - you just never know !

I was out on a few job estimates last week about 30 miles South of where I live.
After the estimate I stopped to get a better look at an old abandoned farm house I spotted on the way in.
A lot of the grass areas around the old house looked short enough to swing.
Then I heard a tractor coming down the hill - turned out to be the owner of the abandoned house.
He told me I could hunt the yard because they were going to tear the house down soon anyway.

I found a total of (9) coins in less than two hours - then it started to rain.
Wow ... Four Silver coins - Three 1800's coins - what a killer hunt !
Not shown in the photo's here were two Wheat Cents from - 1928 & 1940 and a 2001 State Quarter.
(Both sides of the Seated Dime are in excellent condition - just glare from the plastic in the coin flip)

Good Hunting !

Great recoveries the walking liberty still eludes me. Love those 'impromptu' hunts, kinda kills my battery but my machine never leaves my trunk either.

Way to go buddy :)
Let me say something about Mr. E-Trac-Ohio I know this person fairly well. The thinks he has done and accomplished in life are AMAZING !!! Me and E-trac do detecting together quite a bit when he can go when planned. He started with a E-trac and then in the last 5 or 6 years switched to a XP Deus.He knows that machine backwards AND FORWARDS. He also knows when at a SPOT to detect where to detect !! . If anyone is going to find anything I am quite sure it will be him. He is also very good at research. E-trac lives about 20 miles from me. When i had my open heart surgery last Jan. He would drive up here and help my wife put out round bales for my horses.
I want to thank GOD for letting him trust me and give me his phone number. Mr. E-Trac know if he NEEDS anything he
can could on me !!!!

Just a little about a GREAT FRIEND of MINE !!!
