My buddy and I got out to do some detecting behind his house today in Virginia where he lives. We never would believe the stuff we pulled out today and believe this is a virgin camp: My finds:

1 My 2nd US belt buckle arrow hooks all intact
2 I dropped .36 round ball
3 1 fired .44
1 small flat button
1 military button: CADET W.M.S. Don't know which military institute could it be William and Mary School in Williamsburg? Backmark: Scoville MGCO. Superfine
1 NY Militia Kepi
1 floral design button
1 period ring

My buddy also dug today:

1 US Bit boss
4 Eagle I buttons with gilt
1 1859 IH cent
1 dropped .58
1 fired .69
1 small flat button


Stuff is out there diggers but you have to sweep slowly and dig all signals

Those are fantastic finds and that doesn't happen by accident! Great job at both putting yourself in a great location and taking the time to "dig em all" and get that good stuff out of the ground. Very impressive finds
