Beautiful day here in Virginia, except it was warm, very warm. DigginGirl and I went to a local school to kick around in the chips. School only started a little more than a week ago, and it showed. We found the average stuff, then I got a better signal. Looking for trash at the bottom of the chips, I was amazed when I found this. It's a 1935 Walking Liberty Half. I scanned again, and found a wheatie. I yelled at Ashley to bring her detector over, in case there was more. She carefully scanned the area and found seven more wheaties and a 1903 Indian Head!!!! All of this was found at the bottom of a slide. She was tickled and so was I.

Thanks for looking.

I believe so. Or it was brought to school for a "What I did last summer" presentation. We hit this school pretty often.

No doubt about it. Look at the shape of the indian head, that is a beauty. Great finds, you never know where silver is going to pop up. With school kids reseeding it just to help us out we have an endless supply ;)
