I'm trying to figure out what year this was made in but it is pretty cool. It has the original owners initials carved into it and he also carved infantry. Very faint and hard to see but its there! Very cool piece to find!!

German Mauser Bayonet made for Export to Spain

-This is not a Wehrmacht bayonet
-"infantry" likely carved by a previous owner, and not the person who 'captured' it... if it was even in a war involving an English speaking Person.
-Likely used by Spanish Nationalist Soldier during the Spanish Civil War in the 30's
-not worth much maybe $20-$30

Makes an excellent target recovery tool, I've used a cheap foreign bayonet to dig with for years.
