Well we decided to go back to the hills that we found the last amount of canister shot on and detect again for the 2nd time in the pouring down rain with it 40 degrees outside, so we had a pretty good day after all we ended up with 2 what is its 5 more canister shells, enough shotgun shells again to fill a 5 gallon bucket, and a 32 pound frag with the fuse side. We think that the 3rd item could possibly be a trumpet mouth piece but dont really know :icon_scratch: found some small wire pieces that are bent about the size of a canister shot could have been used to hold together in the shell. again all guesess.

Thanks for lookin CW

Some Cool finds. The one piece does look like some sort of mouth piece for a wind instrument.

I like finding civil war relics better than anything these day. Used to focus only on coins till I found my First Union Artillery Button. My brothers gotten me into research more and together we've been increasing our CW finds.
