Found today. Not sure if there was something in the middle at one time? Any help would be great. (Update) After some more cleaning I found a very small makers mark on the back. "Robbins Co. Attleboro" They began in the 1890's and made many things including, medals, buckles, jewelry, military pins etc….. They did make scouting items so this leads me to believe this could be scouting related? They style I believe is pre 1950's and I do think the diamond shape had something in the middle at one time. I still can't find a match on line. IMG_8440.jpg

Might also have been a nautical theme perhaps? Maybe an anchor was adhered to the center?

Are there no Maker's marks on it? Could this be some independent military-like or boy scouts issued buckle,,?
