Howdy again Several spring breaks back I took all the spawn out to Amistad for a housboat adventure in the flooded canyons. On the way back we spent a few days on the Pecos River near the town of Pandale, Texas. This is one of the historical crossings called "cavelry crossing". Way cool, lots of places to poke around.
This is on F.M. 1024 and the Pecos river. The pass thru the mountains and across the river was used by the natives and probably buffalo for thousands of years before the anglos named it. There are campsites all along the crossing in both directions, but ya gotta look hard. Its rough country full of things that poke, stick, pinch, and bite.
This was a surface find under a ledge. I bet it was there a while. Thanks Lone Star

Sounds like beautiful country. I miss playing around out in Texas. Nice find. I am sure it was there a long time,,

I'd call that a scraper but blade works too. They sure utilized the whole circumference of the edge on that one. Nice!
